- Preparing the specialist aspect of environmental impact assessments for air resource consent applications by industry.
- Evaluating health impact assessments of air emissions and stakeholder concerns for Health Boards
- Peer review of technical evidence submitted and appraisal of air consent conditions for Regional Councils
- Presentation of evidence at Regional Council Hearings

- Dioxin emission compliance testing for agrochemical manufacturing, natural gas flare pit, steel, energy, pulp & paper, and medical & quarantine waste incineration
- Co-authored the 2008, 2011 & 2014 Ministry for the Environment’s New Zealand Inventory of Dioxin Emissions to Air, Land, Water, and Reservoir Sources to meet New Zealand’s Stockholm Treaty obligations
- Assessment of the nature and significance of dioxin contaminated wastes produced by the timber treatment industry.
